FAQ
Can we sponsor a specific feature?
Yes. Sponsored features are scoped, quoted and delivered as part of an official release. All code is published under the GPL-3.0 license in the main repository, so there is no private fork to maintain and the work is covered by future updates.
Who owns the code we pay for?
It becomes part of Poweradmin under GPL-3.0. You can use, modify and rely on it like the rest of the project. We don’t build closed-source forks.
Can you help upgrade an old installation?
Yes. We regularly help operators move from older 2.x/3.x versions to the current release, including database schema upgrades, configuration migration and moving to Docker.
Do you offer security reviews?
Yes. We review existing installations for outdated versions, misconfiguration and access-control issues, and provide concrete remediation steps. To report a vulnerability in Poweradmin itself, please use GitHub’s private vulnerability reporting.
Can you invoice our company?
Yes. We issue invoices from Lithuania (EU) to companies worldwide. NDAs and data processing agreements can be signed when needed.
What is the difference between donating and sponsoring?
Donations support ongoing maintenance with no obligations. Sponsorship and services are invoiced engagements with agreed scope and deliverables.
Will our company be listed as a sponsor?
Only with your consent. Sponsors can be credited in release notes and on the project site, or remain anonymous.
